I realized why I hate math.

In school, I've developed exceptional skill in logic, and insight using little to no information. I'm not being vain, simply stating what they told me through the school's gifted program. I have trouble, however, in math.
Math holds no meaning to me because I don't know the mechanics. None of the teachers explain to me WHY these formulas work, simply that they do. It's frustrating.
I lag in English because the subject, frankly, bores me all to hell. It's redundant.
But math is my nemesis. I hate math because I don't understand it. And life is too short to waste on meaningless endeavours.
